Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the newly formed Ministry of Cooperation is giving new momentum and direction to the cooperative movement across India, with Union Minister Amit Shah providing focused leadership. Rajasthan’s Secretary and Registrar, Cooperative Anandi said this while addressing the Marketing Plan Review and Planning Meeting 2026-27 for Rajasthan organized by Krishak Bharti Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) in Jaipur as the chief guest.
He said the collaboration was earlier part of the Agriculture Ministry, but has now been given an independent identity and a newly defined role. Rajasthan has huge potential in this sector and KRIBHCO is doing commendable work to support the farmers of the state through cooperative mechanism.

Manish Kumar, director (finance and marketing), KRIBHCO, said the organization keeps the prosperity of farmers at the center of its efforts, especially in agriculture-intensive states like Rajasthan. By ensuring timely supply of advanced fertilizers, strengthening cooperative institutions and launching farmer-centric initiatives, KRIBHCO is making farming more sustainable, profitable and modern.
He said that in Rajasthan, KRIBHCO is actively strengthening the cooperative network, providing quality inputs and connecting farmers to new technologies through awareness programmes, resulting in higher production and better income. The organization is committed to realizing “Prosperity through Collaboration” by upholding innovation, transparency and financial discipline and strengthening the role of agriculture in the vision of Developed India @2047.
Gajendra Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Marketing, North), KRIBHCO, highlighted the organization’s grassroots involvement in the diverse agro-climatic zones of Rajasthan. Through reliable supply of quality fertilizers, close coordination with cooperatives and farmer-centric marketing, KRIBHCO is driving agricultural progress. Awareness camps, training programs and promotion of modern technologies are helping farmers increase yields, cut costs and achieve income stability. Empowering farmers through collaboration remains the top priority.
The meeting emphasized Rajasthan’s position as India’s largest state, where agriculture depends heavily on monsoon and limited irrigation, covering about 60% of the geographical area and is the backbone of rural livelihoods and the state’s economy.
The discussion also covered the fertilizer market scenario in Rajasthan, emphasizing the need for balanced nutrition and efficient input management. KRIBHCO plays a vital role by supplying urea, DAP, NPK, bio-fertilizers, zinc sulphate, seeds and other products.
For 2026-27, KRIBHCO outlined plans to strengthen input availability, expand distribution network, enhance farmer services and optimize product offerings. Those who performed outstandingly were honored during the session.
Senior management provided guidance going forward and reaffirmed KRIBHCO’s ongoing commitment to agricultural growth and higher farmer incomes in Rajasthan.
