Namaste India launches fresh milk in Bihar, plans to invest Rs 350 crore

Bihar represents an important market in Namaste India’s pan-India growth strategy. With this launch, the brand now serves 17-18 states across India, strengthening its position as a national dairy player

Namaste India, one of India’s fastest growing dairy brands and part of RSPL Group, has announced the launch of its fresh milk in Bihar, marking a significant expansion in Eastern India. This strategic move is supported by a planned investment of Rs 350 crore, which aims to provide fresh, high quality and delicious creamy milk to consumers across the state through a locally rooted, large-scale dairy ecosystem.

As part of the portfolio, Namaste India will offer a variety of fresh milk in Bihar, including FCM (Perfect Maaza), Standard Milk (Shakti Plus), Cow Milk etc., which will be available in consumer friendly and convenient pack sizes – 500 ml, 1 L, 6 L etc. The milk variants will be available through a wide omnichannel distribution network, including retail shops, kirana stores, modern trade, institutional channels and direct distributors across 12 districts/cities of Bihar. Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada etc. With competitive pricing, Namaste India aims to provide high quality milk to every household in Bihar.

Namaste India’s Bihar operations are built on rigorous quality standards, including multi-tier testing protocols, end-to-end cold chain management and rigorous hygiene practices that preserve freshness and nutritional value from farm to home. This initiative is expected to directly benefit 2-3 lakh dairy farmers and one lakh families across the state. Through fair pricing mechanism and direct procurement system, Namaste India is empowering local milk producers and strengthening the rural dairy economy of Bihar. The brand’s commitment to local sourcing ensures that farmers are fairly compensated while consumers get the freshest milk possible.

Speaking about the Bihar launch, COO, Manoj Arora said: : “Bihar is one of the most promising dairy markets in India, with immense consumption potential. We have seen a significant shift in consumer preference towards branded, clean and quality-assured milk. Namaste India addresses this gap by bringing our signature freshness, taste and quality standards to Bihar. This is just the beginning – we plan to deepen our presence across the state with 7 sisters in Jharkhand, West Bengal and the Northeast.”

Bihar represents an important market in Namaste India’s pan-India growth strategy. With this launch, the brand now offers 17-18 states across India, strengthening its position as a national dairy player. Bihar’s entry is particularly strategic given the growing demand for clean dairy products in the state and its potential as one of India’s fastest growing dairy consumption markets. Namaste India is committed to delivering milk rich in essential vitamins, calcium and minerals, while maintaining the highest standards of nutrition, quality and local sourcing through its region-first dairy model that disrupts traditional ecosystems.
