In an important step towards enhancing cooperative led exports from the North East Arunachal Pradesh Consumers Cooperative Federation (APCCF) Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Co-operative Exports Limited (NCEL) But World Trade Center On Tuesday.

Officials described this partnership as a milestone in pursuing the broader objective of cooperative-driven export development, integrating Arunachal’s cooperatives with national and global supply chains.
The objective of the MoU is to enhance export opportunities for agricultural and allied commodities from Arunachal Pradesh through a structured cooperative framework. This collaboration will focus on promoting high value crops like kiwi, orange, pineapple, ginger and cardamom which have strong potential in domestic and international markets.
Under the agreement, NCEL will facilitate market linkages and procurement assistance to cooperative societies across the state. The initiative aims to create sustainable value chains, improve quality standards and ensure better price realization for producers. By pooling produce through cooperatives, the partnership is expected to reduce transaction costs and strengthen the bargaining power of farmers.
