RM Drip & Sprinkler Systems on Thursday said its board has approved setting up a new manufacturing facility in Nashik, Maharashtra with an installed capacity of 12,000 tonnes per annum.

The new unit will be set up at Sinnar in Nashik district through a proposed wholly owned subsidiary, Brahmanand Pipes Pvt Ltd, the company said in a statement.

It said that this facility will increase the company’s total production capacity by about 50 percent.

The plant will manufacture high-speed drip irrigation systems, HDPE pipes for government water supply and irrigation projects, drainage and sewerage pipelines, telecom pipes and ducts and industrial piping solutions, among other products.

“This capacity expansion is an important milestone in RM Drip’s growth strategy,” said Managing Director Nivritti Pandurang Kedar.

“By increasing our manufacturing capacity by approximately 50 per cent, we are laying the foundation for sustained revenue growth, improved margins and stronger execution capabilities,” he said.

The company said the expansion is aimed at supporting higher order flow in the irrigation, infrastructure and industrial sectors while improving asset utilization and operating leverage.

Incorporated in 2004, RM Drip & Sprinkler Systems manufactures micro-irrigation systems and components, offering end-to-end solutions including design, manufacturing and installation.

The company maintains a distribution network in several Indian states including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.
